MTN8 - Money To Naturena!

The big game that no one wants to speak about is coming in a few days time. Amazingly the supporters of Kaizer Chiefs and Orlando Pirates have been rather quiet after the 1st leg. It is as if the pause button was pressed after the game. If the build up is this tense I can't help but wonder how it will be on Sunday afternoon. I expect goals from both sides and a rollercoaster ride. My prediction is that Chiefs will go through to the Final. All Pirates have to do is stop the guy they call Knowledge Musona from scoring.

Great Sporting Weekend!

All the Big teams seem to be going in the right direction. Kaizer Chiefs, Sundowns, Barcelona, Real Madrid, Chelsea, Inter Milan and Manchester United all won this weekend. The highlight had to be the Liverpool going down 3-2 at Old Trafford on Sunday. The hattrick from Berbatov was Cantona like in its brilliance.

Great Week

It has been a great week. I was invited by my former school Masibonisane High for a farewell function. This is the school I used to work at before I came to mpilonhle. The function was organised by my ex-colleagues. The great thing about it was that my colleagues from Mpilonhle. also made it. They also gave a present of a microwave.

There is another derby on the horizon. This Soweto derby is beginning to feel huge in stature. Swallows will be facing Kaizer Chiefs on Sunday.

I hope they get another 3 points.

What a weekend!

Arsenal got beaten at home for the first time by a team promoted this season. This was a shocker for me. They play beautiful football.

The MTN8 champions won for the first time this season. Whereas Pirates season has not begun.

Teacher Training

This week we are working from Lacolline guest house.
We are giving basic teacher training skills to teachers from schools. The workshop will be 3 days long. It has been a challenge for me as I know most of them.

You have to be well prepared when you go up against people who are professionals. You cannot be seen to be wasting their time. People love using the computers.

Hopefully this will be a good week for us at Mpilonhle
